Genesis Christian Ministries is a local church on the Gold Coast with a passion for sharing Jesus and His Kingdom in community. More than a religious program or institution, we see ‘church’ as an extended family that do life together, strengthened by each other as we pursue our God-given destiny in obedience to, and under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  For each one of us, our mandate is to be a ‘light’ in our communities, practicing the simple acts of serving, caring and supporting those around us in need of God’s grace and healing.

Meet the Team

Senior Ministers: Len & Helen Rossow

Len and Helen, pioneered Genesis Christian Ministries over 13 years ago after serving in the Uniting church for many years. The call was to work towards the restoration of prophetic and apostolic ministry to the church and to build a resource centre and house of refuge for the wider-Church and community.

Under Len’s energetic and visionary leadership, Genesis Christian Ministries was established with the Mission to reach out, restore, raise up and release disciples of Jesus Christ. Through the ministry of Seeds of Hope, Refiners Fire Discipleship Training Centre, the Training For Life Centre and many other initiatives, this Mission is being realised.

Len is a gifted teacher with a particular interest in Biblical studies, healing ministry and community transformation. For him, teaching is far more than passing on information; it’s about building strong foundations and imparting a passion for Jesus Christ worked out in practical discipleship.

The greatest longing in his heart is to see the Church on the Gold Coast working strategically towards city-wide transformation. No matter the brand on the front door, we are all part of the Church of the city.

Helen has a strong pastoral heart and a passion for ‘listening prayer’.  She brings prophetic insight and a practical down to earth openness to the team.

Len and Helen are people who passionately believe in relationship above function and seek to live by the values of integrity, honesty and humility. They enjoy a close bond with their family and daily marvel at the gift of God’s grace in their seven grandchildren.
