Our Mission

To be God’s Kingdom on earth, living under the Lordship and guidance of Jesus Christ, and, through the Holy Spirit, create a culture where we experience God’s grace, compassion, steadfast love and miracle working power.

Genesis Mission

To Reach Out, Restore, Raise Up and Release disciples of Jesus Christ.

Connect the Generations: We are a family church that seeks to connect the generations; single parents, families, youth and children and the older sharing their experiences, energy and ideas as they work together for a Kingdom-cause.

Teach God’s Word: The Bible – God’s message to each one of us – is dynamic and life-changing. We love God’s Word and are committed to teach and train others to understand it for themselves and allow it’s words, which are ‘spirit and life’ to transform them from the inside out.

Release the Prophetic: A prophetic message from God is powerful; it can release people from their past and lift their vision to see an exciting future with God. Prophecy brings encouragement, comfort and fresh direction and is a gift from God to the Church. We are committed to nurture and release prophetic ministry and welcome recognised prophetic input from other ministries.

Build Community: In partnership with the community, government and non-government organisations, and other churches our desire is to build connections and the sense of belonging for people living in our community.

Be a Resource: Our desire is to be a ready-source of practical help to the community, to other churches across our city and beyond; from counselling to parenting courses, worship teams for other churches to sending mission teams overseas.

Pursue Unity: Across our city are many local churches; our desire is to work alongside these churches for the transformation of our city and region. We are passionate about a city-wide movement of sold out, passionate Jesus followers who step out in radical ways to display God’s love to a broken world. We are committed to seeing bridges built between denominations, so that Christians on the Gold Coast see themselves as one body with many congregations, tribes and flavours.
