Jenny Murfet

Youth Pastor

Jenny provides Pastoral Oversight within Genesis, with an emphasis on Youth, Young Adults and Young Married members of the congregation. She has a passion for seeing young people discover the value of who God created them to be, helping them to find their place in building God's Kingdom, while also walking with them as they deal with the things life throws at them.

She is also involved with general administrative support in the church office. She is married to Scott and they have three children, Codi, Toby and Stephanie.

Jess Claassen

Children's Pastor

Jess takes care of the Children's Ministries at Genesis, providing leadership and oversight to the various programs for children that operate both during the week and on Sundays here at Genesis. She is also currently studying at Uni for a degree in Education and is married to Ken.

Volunteers

Genesis has numerous volunteers that serve at the church and in the community throughout the week. Without their skills, service and time, we would be lost. Genesis Leadership Team

The Leadership Team provides spiritual oversight for the people and ministry of Genesis Christian Ministries by;

• Establishing a culture that expresses and reflects the vision and values of the Kingdom of God
• Developing the Five-Fold Ministry – restoring, raising up and releasing people into their ministries be that in the family, market place, community or local church
• Pursuing our mission as part of the wider Church of Nerang and the Gold Coast
