Meet the Team
Brett & Mary-Ann Lush![]() A relentless passion for community, as God intended it to be, fuels the vision of Community Pastor and Director of Seeds of Hope, Brett Lush. Brett has lived and worked on the Gold Coast for over 20 years, and was busy pursuing a career in Real Estate before he encountered the life-transforming message of the Gospel. It marked a significant change in direction for Brett and after various jobs, ministry opportunities and study at Refiners Fire Discipleship Training Centre, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place. Growing up in the country, Brett experienced first-hand what genuine community living could be like and was captured by the picture in Acts 2 of a unified and closely connected community of people living, working and sharing with God and with each other. Seeds of Hope was birthed out of this journey and gives practical expression to building community the Kingdom way; reaching out to the lost and lonely, restoring the broken, raising up people to fulfil their life’s purpose, releasing each ones greatest potential. Brett spends most of his time working alongside churches, community service and social service organisations to create effective community building initiatives. More than a program, his desire is that Seeds of Hope will model the simplicity and beauty of community life as God intended, and activate people to a lifestyle that values, cares for and serves the community they live in everyday. Mary-Ann is the Personal Assistant to our Senior Minister, Len Rossow. She assists with all aspects of administration and pastoral care.
